Make an impact at your next gala event

It's a sure sign of Autumn approaching when we begin fielding phone calls from corporate event planners and non-profit organizations alike inquiring about using film to make an impact at their upcoming events.

It's a daunting task for organizations to plan annual extravaganzas that stand out from the rest, inspire empathy and call on communities to donate to your cause.

A Tribute Film or Organization Profile is guaranteed to make it happen.

As they say, a picture speaks a thousand words and no medium accomplishes this better. When even the most professionally written speeches fail at an event, a film will grab your attendees' attention, explain your cause and inspire donations within three to five minutes.

Past clients say the proof is in the pudding when it comes to their events. Dollars donated on years they had a film and years they did not are noticeable.

Since every one of our films are tailor-made to our clients' needs, we welcome the challenge of making a film for your next event that pushes your organization to the next level.

Testimonial: Mitzvah Love

We got the nicest testimonial from one of our June Bar Mitzvah moms yesterday and thought we would share with you. You might remember our post about their great celebration from a few weeks ago.

I just finished working with Andrea and Florence from Rewind Pictures who created two montages for my son's Bar Mitzvah on June 12, 2010. They created the montages from pictures I supplied them with and turned them into 2 separate beautiful reels which ran on loops continuously throughout my son's party.

The entire experience of working with Andrea and Florence was wonderful. They are both knowledgeable; creative;
they delivered what they promised when they promised and were happy to work within my budget.

The final products were amazing and proved to be a highlight of the party. The montages will also serve as beautiful ke
epsakes in the years to come. I highly recommend them and intend to work with them again and use their company should I ever need any family films or montage work done in the future.

Thank you for the kind words!

Finding Peace in Wisconsin

Recently, the Rewind Pictures team traveled (yes, we do that!) to beautiful Dodgeville, Wisconsin to document one of our favorite clients leading a workshop on inner peace based on the ideas and principles of acclaimed author, Eckhart Tolle.

This assignment was a follow up to a film we did last year (see it here). That film's goal was to garner interest in attending the workshop and it brought a overwhelmingly positive response.

The next logical step was to go film the workshop! The workshop took place at Bethel Horizons Retreat Center. It was a beautiful weekend filled with nature, open mindedness and friendship.

Here are a few photos of the weekend captured by our resident photographer, Florence!

Stay tuned for the workshop film currently in the works!

Testimonial: Going the Extra Mile

We have been in awe of our latest wedding couple, Melissa & Bryan, for some time now. They did the Ironman Triathlon in Lake Placid, NY last weekend and got married at the end of the race...and we were there to film it and preserve it forever!

The Ironman Triathlon consists of 2.4-mile (3.86 km) swim, a 112-mile (180.25 km) bike and a marathon(26 miles 385 yards, 42.195 km) run, raced in that order and without a break.

Yup, you heard it right. Quite an accomplishment!

We made a 10 minute film that documents Melissa & Bryan's love story, their inspiration for the Ironman Wedding , the training process, and of course, their race/wedding day. The film premiered this past weekend at a wedding celebration at the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan.

This is what Bryan wrote to us:

The video brought many to tears at the reception on Saturday. It turned out awesome. Melissa and I watched it again yesterday—we cherish it. Great job.

We can't wait to share this special film with all of you.

In the meantime, here are Bryan & Melissa's race photos. How cute is the veil?
