Smiling faces!

It is not often we get to see our films premiere at the events for which they were created! Here's a sampling of some events that we were honored to attend and/or receive photos from.

We love to see our audiences' smiling faces. It is truly the best reward.

When it all comes together.....

We drove out to Irvington, NY last night to meet with our newest client, Amanda, who is having her Bat Mitzvah in May. Amanda and her mom wanted to do something a little different for her Bat Mitzvah photo montage. Together, we came up with a great idea. Why not incorporate clips from some of her favorite movies to introduce each section of the montage? We are totally psyched and can't wait to get started-not to mention review some of our favorite movies like Uncle Buck, Zoolander and School of Rock. Check back soon to see the final product!

Brooklyn Flea Market Treasures

Recently, I went to the Brooklyn Flea Market in Ft. Greene. At the moment it is being housed in a gorgeous old bank building @ 1 Hanson Place. The biggest treat was the ability to wander all around the old bank admiring all the original fixtures including teller windows, private offices and the original vault in the basement.

As I wandered through the mounds of found treasures for sale, I was sadly surprised to find piles of people's gorgeous, old family photographs for sale by the bunch. So many memories attached to each one of those photos, yet no owner to claim them and recount their stories.

Is this the fate of our family histories? It's your responsibility to keep your family photos from winding up at a flea market. Preserve them and pass them down with the stories that make up your family history.

Rewind Pictures goes Off Broadway!

Last night, Florence and I had the honor of attending The New Group's 2010 Gala honoring Robyn Goodman. The New Group hired us for the second year in a row to help pay tribute to the recipient of the Michael Mendelson Award given out annually to someone with outstanding commitment to theater. This year's recipient was Robyn Goodman, an extremely influential and inspiring Broadway producer.

This year's gala was a tremendous success filled with celebrity sightings, large donations and a lovely program honoring Robyn. Photos of the event to come-in the meantime check out the tribute film and let us know what you think!

Thanks to everyone at The New Group and Aged in Wood Productions for their help in making the film a true success.

We are always so appreciative to be able to see the premieres of our films at the events they were created for!

Are you a Wedding Crasher?

I had a blast on Saturday at the
Wedding Crashers event at The Bell House in Brooklyn. Congratulations to Nicole of BrooklynBased for pooling together such a fresh group of wedding talent. It was so refreshing to see such ripe talent in one cool venue!

Some of my favorites:

Tammy Golson, event planner, and Megan Hill, owner Hello Super 8, chat at the Hello Super 8 table.

Sarah and Leah of the fabulous florist, Blossom and Branch, discuss their bouquets dancing around the Bell House by lovely models donning bridal gowns.

Abdi Aminlari, the super talented photographer of 3 Photographers, chats it up with some interested brides.
